Ricky Williams sweeps area West Virginia tracks winning his biggest career victory!

(BECKLEY, WEST VIRGINIA) Ricky Williams driver of the #12 Rocket Chassis, Pro Power Performance Racing Engine house car and his team invades victory lane for the fourth time in 2007 racing season. Ricky Williams found himself in victory on Friday night June 22 at Beckley Speedway and then AGAIN on Saturday night June 23 at Elkins Speedway.

On Friday night the Beckley WV native, "9 Grand" Ricky Williams laid down a fourth place qualifying time out of eighteen other drivers. He then went on to finish second in his heat race. As a result of his heat race finish, Ricky claimed the fourth starting position for the feature. From this position, Ricky was able to power his way to the front.
After the checkered flag dropped, Ricky Williams and his #12 Rocket Chassis Pro Power Performance Racing Engine were this weeks super late model feature winner.
This is Ricky and his team's second visit to victory lane at Beckley Speedway in 2007.

On Saturday night June 23rd, Ricky Williams visited Elkins Speedway's for the 7th Annual Chuck Gear Memorial paying $5000 to win. The night started out with Ricky turning a 15.91 lap time putting him eleventh fastest out of thirty other drivers. This qualifying time placed Ricky on the inside front row of the second heat race. From the front row, Ricky Williams drove his #12 Pro Power Performance Rocket Chassis to a heat race victory. This heat race win claimed Ricky the eighth starting position for the 7th Annual Chuck Gear Memorial.
After several restarts and cautions, Ricky Williams was able to rocket his way to the front. With little over half of the 75 laps left to go, Ricky Williams took the lead from Chuck Harper and never looked back. When the checkered flag fell and the dust settled, the winner of the 7th Annual Chuck Gear Memorial was Ricky Williams and his #12 Rocket Chassis Pro Power Performance Racing Engine.
