Straybullet Motorsports makes first appearance at I-77 Motorsports Park, Mikey wins heat Dustin second

Mikey and Dustin Sprouse also known as Straybullet Motorsports makes their first appearance at the new I-77 Motorsports Park in Fairplain, West Virginia this past Saturday night. Mikey Sprouse the driver of the 3M AMRA Modified started his evening out with a 13th place qualifying run and his brother Dustin Sprouse driver of the 3D AMRA Modified starts out with a 17th place qualifying run. This resulted in the pair of brothers starting right behind each other in their heat race. Mikey and his 3M modified started in the 4th position and his brother Dustin started right directly behind him in the 6th position

When the green flag dropped both boys were able to come to the front. Mikey was able to finish out the heat race with a win. This is Mikey’s 2nd career AMRA Modified heat race victory but it wasn’t an easy one because his brother was right on his tail. Dustin and his 3D AMRA modified finished out the heat race with a 2nd place finish.

The Straybullet Motorsports team ended their nights with one top 5 and one 14th place finish. Mikey Sprouse ended up with a 5th place feature finish and Dustin ended up with a 14th place finish. Dustin had a flat while running in the 7th place position. Trouble changing the tire during the 2 courtesy laps put Dustin a lap down.
